Todd McFarlane Working On Spawn Remake
"Spawn" will be making a comeback on the big screen. According to comingsoon.net, Todd McFarlane has started to write a screenplay for a new film.

McFarlane said, "The story has been in my head for 7 or 8 years. The movie idea is neither a recap or continuation. It is a standalone story that will be R-rated. Creepy and scary."

The original "Spawn" movie was released in 1997. It started Michael Jai White, John Leguizamo and Martin Sheen. The film went on to gross over $87 million worldwide at the box office.

No word yet on when the film's release date will be.
