James Franco's "My Own Private River" and "Endless Idaho" Exhibition to Open This Weekend
Upcoming Academy Awards Co-Host, James Franco, has been doing some behind-the-camera work on two documentaries that are set to be released at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills.  "My Own Private River" and "Endless Idaho", were both directed by the actor.

Franco was privy to some footage of the late River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves working on their characters for the Gus Van Sant film, "My Own Private Idaho".  He then cut the footage up and put together two documentaries from the footage.

"My Own Private River" focuses on River Phoenix's work in the film, and will be accompanied by a score from Michael Stipe. "Endless Idaho" focuses more on the making of the actual film.

The exhibition opens this weekend and will run through April 9.
