AMC Developing Goodfellas Series
The classic Scorsese film, "Goodfellas", will be the basis of a new television series on AMC.

The 1990 film was based on the notorious Lucchese crime family, based out of New York, and the man who turned them all in, Henry Hill. Hill lived for quite some time under witness relocation protection. There's no word if the series will be based mostly on Hill's character, as the film was.

Jorge Zamacona, along with Nicholas Pileggi and Irwin Winkler, will be executive producing the film.
