"The Wolverine", starring Hugh Jackman, has seen many delays and issue, but now, hopefully, location can be crossed off that list.
Originally, the film was to be shot in japan, but due to the devastating tsunami last year, production shut down. Now, there has been a deal to shoot the film in Australia, Jackman's native country. The $80 million deal will bring more than 720 crew jobs and a possible 1200 extras jobs.
The film will again be a stand alone, with no tying it into the "X-Men" films.
