Yesterday, rumors were running wild about Joseph Gordon-Levitt being chosen for the role of Batman in "Justice League", and now, his reps have gone on the record to say that this is not the case. They have "refuted the rumor entirely."

The rumor was that Gordon-Levitt would be brought into "Justice League" through a movie ending tie-in with the upcoming "Man of Steel" film.

On thing is for sure, this has undoubtedly given a boost to the "Dark Knight" promotion with the Blu-ray due out next week.
