Peter Jackson to Begin Tintin Sequel Next Year

Peter Jackson recently gave an interview to the Belgian media about the upcoming "Hobbit" film, but also spoke about the sequel to the "Tintin".

Jackson said that he won't be waiting until the end of "The Hobbit" sequels to get going on production for "Tintin"; in fact, he will begin shooting the performance capture elements next year.

"Tintin" will take about 2 years post-production work and is scheduled for a 2015 release.
