"Hitman", the live action film adaptation of the popular video game, will be getting a reboot by Fox International Productions. They have cast Paul Walker, of "The Fast and the Furious" fame, to star in "Agent 47", which will give the franchise a fresh start.
The film originally was released in 2007 and starred Timoth Olyphant as the elite assassin who was genetically modified and bar coded on the back of his head. The film was a decent success, earning $100 million worldwide. Skip Woods, who wrote the original film, will be co-writing this one with Michael Finch. Aleksander Bach will direct.
Filming will begin this summer in Berlin and Singapore.
