Production Starts on Marvel's Second Wave of Films
"Guardians of the Galaxy", the movie that will launch Marvel Studio's "second wave" of movies
in 2014, has entered production according to Marvel's vice-president of visual effects, Victoria Alonso told
Cinema Blend.

"Completely! It started months ago and we have an entire team in London already, we start
shooting in June. Our director travels next week and its going, baby! It's a fast train to a
beautiful place."

James Gunn directs the movie and is already due to fly to London. Chris Pratt (Zero Dark
Thirty) is to take the lead role of Star-Lord.

Guardians of the Galaxy, is scheduled for release on August 1, 2014.
