Natalie Portman has been chosen to play Lady Macbeth in an upcoming film adaptation of the classic Shakespere play.  She will be starring alongside Michael Fassbender.

Justin Kurzel will be directing the project and Todd Louiso and  Jacob Koskoff has written the script.  

The film will take place in the 11th century and will include major battle scenes.  It is also said that it will be preformed in the "original language".
