Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to make a Dungeons & Dragons film.
The famous role-playing game fantasy game has been around for decades, and has been the subject of various film and television projects. Now, the studio will revive the franchise with a new film, written by Frank Darabont protege David Leslie Johnson. They plan on rebooting the whole franchise.
Roy Lee and Courtney Solomon will be producing and Alan Zeman is exec producing. The hunt is on for a director.
