Hollywood is reeling from the death of Bill Paxton, who passed away Saturday, suddenly, at the age of 61. Paxton was remembered by many as one of the nicest guys in Hollywood.
HBO echoes this sentiment, and released a statement regarding his death.
The statement reads:
We are extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Bill Paxton. Big Love was a seminal series for HBO for many years due to Bill's extraordinary talent and grace. Off screen, he was as warm, smart and fun as one could be. A true friend to so many at HBO. He will be greatly missed.
Paxton starred alongside Jeanne Tripplehorn, Chloë Sevigny, and Ginnifer Goodwin in Big Love, which ran from 2006 to 2011. The show featured the tumultuous life of a polygamist family in Utah.
