Kevin Hart Signs on for Live-Action Monopoly Film

Kevin Hart is set to star in a live-action Monopoly film with Tim Story directing.

The Lionsgate/Hasbro film's plot is still being kept quiet but Hasbro has been planning this film for at least 10 years. Hart will produce alongside John Cheng and Carli Haney for Hart's HartBeat Productions banner. Brian Goldner, Stephen Davis, and Greg Mooradian will be producing through Hasbro's Allspark Pictures label.

Previously, the film was to be written by Andrew Niccol (The Truman Show) for Lionsgate.

The film's writer and shoot date haven't been set yet.
