Disney has announced its lineup of live-action and animated films at the D23 Expo in Anaheim.
Alan Horn, co-chairman and chief creative officer, The Walt Disney Studios, kicked off the announcements by saying, "You're not just fans, you're family. And there are 7,000 of you in this audience today. It's because of you that we keep working so hard to make great films-and we love the D23 Expo because it's where we can share them with you first."
The panel was a star-studded event, including the major players of some of the studio's highly anticipated upcoming films.
Coming out to discuss Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams, Naomi Ackie, and Keri Russell. This grouping alone would have been worth viewing this panel, but the celebrity parade didn't stop there. Some other top names join the panel were Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Elle Fanning, Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad.
