The USA Network has canceled their series The Purge after two seasons and Treadstone after one.
Declining viewership and high costs of production are the culprits for cancellation, as well as a programming shift towards unscripted programming. USA has recently added Temptation Island and The Biggest Loser reboots to their roster.
The Purge and Treadstone are based on films - the Purge franchise and the Bourne franchise.
Dare Me, another one of USA's drama series, was also recently canceled after just one season.
