Glenn Close has joined the cast of Apple TV+'s "Tehran" for its second season. The eight-time Oscar-nominated actress will play the role of a British woman living in Tehran named Marjan Montazeri.
"Tehran" cast includes Niv Sultan, Shaun Toub, and Shervin Alenabi. The series tells the story of Sultan's character Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan, who lives in Tehran deep undercover.
Close has also starred as a regular in the TV series "The Shield" on FX, and "Damages", also on FX.
"Tehran" debuted in September 2020 on Apple TV+ but also on the Israeli network Kan 11.
