Christian Slater has joined the cast of "Freelance", an action-comedy directed by Pierre Morel. He will co-star alongside John Cena, Alison Brie, and Juan Pablo Raba.
The story follows Cena's character, who is a special forces operator who decides to retire. After living the domestic life with kids, and everyday mundane tasks, he decides to take a job as a security guard for a female journalist working on a dangerous story and interview.
Slater recently starred in the series "Mr. Robot", a role he earned Golden Globe and Critics' Choice Award.
