Ernie Hudson Joins Cast of Popular Series Reboot

Ernie Hudson has signed on to join the cast of the "Quantum Leap" reboot. 

Hudson will play the role of Herbert "Magic" Williams, head of the Quantum Leap project and Vietnam Veteran. He works alongside Dr. Ben Seong, who gets stuck in the 1980s with amnesia after he uses the equipment.

The NBC series will be written and executive produced by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, and so-executive produced by Martin Gero, Don Bellisario, and Deborah Pratt.

Hudson was seen recently in "Ghostbusters: Afterlife", reprising his role of Winston Zeddemore.
