Kevin Spacey to Pay $31 Million in Damages for Sexual Misconduct

"House of Cards" star Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay almost $31 million for alleged sexual misconduct on the set of the show. He will have to pay the damages to series producer MRC. The ruling was made today by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mel Red Recana, upholding a previous judgment made in October 2021.

Spacey was fired from the series after allegations that involved a production assistant, as well as allegations that he was a predator to young men.

The judge found that Spacey's actions did indeed constitute a breach of acting and executive producing agreements. Spacey maintains that these allegations are false, but will accept the arbitrator's findings.

"House of Cards" continued for one more season after the release of Spacey, with Robin Wright stepping into the lead role.
