Taissa Farmiga to Reprise Her Role in The Nun Sequel

Taissa Farmiga will be returning to the "Nun" franchise. The actress will reprise her role as Sister Irene.

The film, "The Nun 2", is the follow-up to the 2018 film "The Nun" and is part of "The Conjuring" franchise, which, with "The Nun 2", will be comprised of 8 films. The franchise has earned over $2 billion worldwide.

Farmiga also stars in HBO's "The Gilded Age" alongside Cynthia Nixon and Carrie Coon.

"The Nun 2", which is slated for a Sept. 8, 2023 release, will be directed by Michael Chaves.
