FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA – Streaming on Max August 16

Warner Bros. Pictures' FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA will make its global streaming debut exclusively on Max on FRIDAY, AUGUST 16.

This new film, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth, hails from Academy Award®-winning visionary George Miller, and explores the iconic dystopian universe he first introduced over 40 years ago with the groundbreaking Mad Max films. This original, standalone action-adventure story delves into the origins of the formidable character from the multiple Academy Award®-winning global hit Mad Max: Fury Road.

The story is set in a world in collapse, as the young Furiosa is taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the grasp of the formidable Biker Horde led by Warlord Dementus. As they traverse the Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel, ruled by The Immortan Joe. Amid the power struggle between these two tyrants, Furiosa must navigate numerous challenges to find her way back home.
