The 2024 Gotham Awards took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, showcasing the best in independent cinema. A24's A Different Man took home the award for Best Feature, cementing its place among the year's most celebrated films.

The night was a triumph for Sing Sing, which swept the acting categories. Colman Domingo won Best Lead Performance, and Clarence Maclin earned Best Supporting Performance. The awards, hosted by the Gotham Film & Media Institute, featured tributes to stars such as Angelina Jolie, Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, James Mangold, and the cast of Sing Sing.

Notably, the Gothams lifted their $35 million budget cap for eligible films, continuing their tradition of recognizing critical darlings like Spotlight, Moonlight, and Everything Everywhere All at Once, which later achieved Oscar success.
