Christian Slater is close to becoming one of NBC's newest network drama stars, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The new series, which is, as of yet, untitled, will be written by Jason Smilovic.
The series has been described as "The Bourne identity" meets "Jekyll & Hyde". Slater's character is a suburban dad who comes to realize that he has an alter ego that is a spy.
The Hollywood reporter also states that Christian Slater has been on directors' wish lists for years to do a primetime drama.
