Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

While Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is an adequate entry in the Mission: Impossible franchise, it is not the standout film that it could, and should, have been. However, saying that, it is still miles above most of your standard action films.

Imagine if you will, a world where there is a Superman, but no Clark Kent, a Batman, but no Bruce Wayne, A Wonder Woman, but no Princess Diana. These are some of the changes this Elseworlds (i.e. Alternate Universe) tale has in store for the viewer.

While Southpaw is not about superheroes trying to save the world, or little yellow men, it is still a worthy entry into the summer line up, and while it won’t have those same kind of numbers its opening weekend, it should have staying power.

Run All Night

Colin Treverrow has stated many times, during interviews that he wanted to create a film where adults could feel like kids again. He certainly accomplished this task, as Jurassic World reminded me why I fell in love with movies.
