John Woo To Film Comic Book Adaptation of Caliber
John Woo will be directing the upcoming comic adaptation, "Caliber", which will be unveiled at Comic Con next week.  The film will be a collaborative effort between Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil, Barry Levine's Radical Comics and Lion Rock, the U.S.-based shingle that Woo runs with longstanding partner Terence Chang.

The story is set in the 19th century and features King Arthur and his knights as gunslingers in the Pacific Northwest.

Woo has a myriad of projects going on at the moment, including "1949," a period romancer set against the tumultuous background of the Chinese Revolution, "The Sicilian Clan," a remake of the 1969 French crime drama, and "The Divide," the story of a Chinese laborer working on America's transcontinental railroads in the 19th century.
