Tobey Maguire Hits Pay Day With Spider-man Series
According to Times Online, Tobey Maguire has signed a $50 million deal with Sony Pictures to star in Spider-Man 4 and Spider-Man 5.  He will also earn money from profit shares.

While that may seem more than enough for most people, Maguire demanded on more thing... not more money, but time off to spend with his daughter, Ruby.  Ruby is 22 months old, and Maguire requested that he have early mornings and evenings off so that they could play.

A friend of his says, "Tobey admits he is obsessive-compulsive about everything he does, and raising Ruby is no different. There's no way Tobey would allow work, no matter how well paid, to get between him and Ruby, and Sony realized that."

There is no word yet on whether or not Kirsten Dunst will be returning as Mary-Jane Watson, but they are expected to make an announcement within the next few days.

Spider-Man 4 is scheduled to be released on April 30, 2011.
