Marvel's Avengers Heading Towards The Big Screen -- Eventually

"Earths Mightiest Heroes", The Avengers, will get the big screen debut in a live action feature from 20th Century Fox and Marvel.

Members of the Avengers include Thor, Ant-Man-Wasp, Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America. The Avengers film will not begin production until after the upcoming "Iron Man" and "The Incredible Hulk" films have been released.

Zak Penn whose writing credits include X-Men 2 and X-Men 3 will write the script. No word yet on a director or actors to fill the iconic roles of "The Avengers"
