Peter Jackson's Next Project....Powerpufff Girls?

Sources have revealed that Peter Jackson will be working on a "Powerpuff Girls" live action movie, set to be released in the summer of 2008.

Miniatures and props based on the cartoon are already in production by WETA. They worked on the visual effects for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and for King Kong. "Pete is very excited about this project and is looking for a Summer 2008 release", a source revealed to TheOne Ring.net.

His other projects, The Lovely Bone and Damnbusters have all been on hold for the time being.
