Character Actor Pete Postlethwaite Dies at 64
Pete Postlethwaite, who starred in a myriad of films over his acting career, has died. The actor was suffering from cancer.

He was arguably best known for his role in In The Name Of The Father, starring opposite Daniel Day Lewis, for which he received an Oscar nomination.  Other notable films he starred in were Clash of the Titans (2010), Inception, The Town, Amistad and The Usual Suspects.

He was once called "the best actor in the world" by Steven Spielberg, to which he replied, "I'm sure what Spielberg actually said was, 'The thing about Pete is that he thinks he's the best actor in the world.' "

Pete is survived by his wife, Jacqueline, son William and daughter Mary.
