Kevin Smith Retiring from Filmmaking
Kevin Smith, the writer/director behind films such as "Clerks", "Mallrats" and "Dogma", has announced that his upcoming film, "Hit Somebody", will be his last.

While speaking after the premiere of "Red State" at the Sundance Film Festival, Smith confirmed that he will be retiring as a director. He said that he will be helping others make films, presumably as a producer or maybe even a write.

"Hit Somebody" is a story about a hockey player who has a talent for fighting. It is scheduled to be released in 2012.
