Jim Carrey Up for Bruce Almighty Sequel?
Jim Carrey may be returning for a "Bruce Almighty" sequel, according to Variety. The actor starred in the original, which earned $500 million, with Jennifer Aniston.

Universal is said to have hired Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel to write the script, which is said to be written specifically with Jim Carrey in mind. No word on whether or not anything would be written in for Aniston's part.

"Evan Almighty", starring Steve Carell, was released in 2007 after Carrey said he wasn't interested in doing a sequel.  That film, however, only grossed $175 million and cost twice as much to make as the original.
