Terminator 4: Salvation To Begin Production in 2008
Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, the fourth installment of the Terminator series, will be distributed by Warner Brothers. The company acquired the rights and will begin production in early 2008. Sony Pictures Entertainment is expected to be the distributor internationally.

The latest Terminator saga, which is set in the future, will be told over the course of a trilogy. The producers of the film, Halcyon, says that this film will be made on a grand scale just like its previous film, Terminator 3 was.

McG is said to be the director of the film, and John Brancato and Michael Ferris will be writing the script. Halcyon has also said that though it isn't definite he will be doing so, they have left it open for Arnold Schwarzenegger to make a cameo.
