Paramount Pictures has announced that they are expanding their animation department and that they already have several new projects in development.
Among the projects are an animated film from J.J. Abrams and some Nickelodeon films. Also being developed is "The New Kid", about a human boy in a school full of aliens.
Paramount had previously announced that they will be releasing another "SpongeBob SquarePants" film.
