Alan Berg to Direct Videodrome Remake
Adam Berg is currently in talks to direct a remake of "Videodrome", the 1983 film that starred James Woods.

Berg is an acclaimed commercials director, winning the Film Grand Prix at Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival for his Carousel ad for Philips, as well as directing some short films. This will be his feature film directorial debut.

In "Videodrome", Woods portrayed Max Renn, a man that was head of Civic TV Channel 83. In order to make his channel more relevant, he begins airing a show that depicts torture and murder. In the updated version, the film will delve into a nan-technology and be a sci-fi action thriller.
