Gerard Butler's Motor City Halts Production
"Motor City", the Albert Hughes revenge drama that was being released by Warner Bros., has halted production.

The cause for the shutdown was the realization from the backers, Emmett/Furla Films, Envision Entertainment, and Foresight Entertainment,  that the studio's hard release date wouldn't give them enough time for post-production work.  They said it would be "impossible to meet the firm March 31st delivery date without compromising the quality of the film".

The film was to start shooting on September 17 and was to star Gerard Butler, Mickey Rourke and Adrien Brody.  No word on whether they will set production for another date.
