HBO Go Now Available Through AirPlay App

HBO's Eric Kessler announced today that effective immediately, those who subscribe to HBO will be able to use AirPlay with the HBO Go app. The announcement was made at the AllThingsD Dive Into Media Conference.

Kessler said, "Our longterm goal for Go is to be on all devices all platforms". He added, "We will get on Apple TV as we've said all along".

Right now, HBO Go is available on PCs, tablets, and consoles. Currently, Apple is making an effort to expand its offerings, as they only support content from subscription apps such as Netflix and Hulu Plus. Through AirPlay, however, subscribers can currently stream to their Apple TV until a direct option is available.
