80's kids, rejoice. A new draft of the "Knight Rider" film is on its way.

The Weinstein Company has hired Brad Copeland ("Wild Hogs" and "Arrested Development") to take over the new draft, and get things moving along. The film will be a big budget, action packed project, possibly in the same vein of "Fast and Furious". It is expected that the film will have a touch of humor as well, given Copeland's resume.

No release date has been set yet.
