Everwood Creator To Direct Green Lantern
Warner Brothers has signed on Greg Berlanti, the creator of "Everwood", to co-write and direct the upcoming Green Lantern film. Berlanti joins Marc Guggenheim, and Michael Green in writing the film.

Hal Jordan, a test pilot, finds a downed alien spacecraft with a dying alien inside. The alien gives Jordan a ring that will change his life forever. The film will focus on how Hal Jordan becomes the Green Lantern and his joining of the Green Lantern corps as well as the Guardians of the Universe.

It is still unknown if this film will somehow be linked with the "Justice League" film, in which Green Lantern is a character.
