Felicity Jones Signs On for a Star Wars Standalone Film

Felicity Jones, who recently starred in "The Theory of Everything", has signed on to star in a "Star Wars" standalone film.
Gareth Edwards of "Godzilla" fame, will be directing the 3D feature and Chris Weitz will be writing the script.
There is no word whether or not this film will somehow be related to the trio of "Star Wars" feature films that are to be released in coming years.
The standalone project is slated for December 16, 2016 release.
