Luke Evans to Play Gaston in Disney's Beauty and the Beast

Luke Evans, who was recently seen in "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies", will be starring in Disney's live action "Beauty and the Beast". He will be playing the role of Gaston. The film will also star Emma Watson, who will be playing Belle.

Film production will begin later this year, with Bill Condon directing. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville Films are producing.

Up next for Evans will be Ben Wheatley's "High Rise", followed by "Message From the King".
