Sleepy Hollow Creator Develops Dr. Moreau Series for CBS

Sleepy Hollow co-creator, Phillip Iscove, has developed a new series for CBS based on the H.G. Wells' 1896 sci-fi novel "The Island of Dr. Moreau".
The show will follow the story of Dr. Katherine Moreau as she pushes the envelope of medicine at her privately funded island hospital.
The show will be written by and executive produced by Iscove, along with Frank Marshall and Robert Zotnowski, who will also be executive producing.
This will be the first time that Dr. Moreau will be portrayed as a female.
