Netflix Developing Popular Witches Game as a Television Series
Netflix is developing another new series, "The Witcher", for their streaming platform. The show will be based on the popular fantasy series by Andrzej Sapkowski.

The series spans across eight novels and story collection, and also produced a video game spinoff. The storyline revolves around "witchers", hunters that have developed supernatural abilities at a young age to battle monsters.

Erik Barmack, Netflix Vice President, International Series, said, "We couldn't be more excited about bringing The Witcher saga to Netflix members around the world."

"The Witcher stories follow an unconventional family that comes together to fight for truth in a dangerous world. The characters are original, funny and constantly surprising and we can't wait to bring them to life at Netflix, the perfect home for innovative storytelling", said Sean Daniel, one of the producers of the series. he will be working alongside Jason Brown. Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko of Platige Image will be executive producing.
