George R. R. Martin Nightflyers Pilot Ordered For SyFy Network
George R.R. Martin, the mastermind behind Game of Thrones, has snagged another development deal based on his novella Nightflyers. Executive produced by Gene Klein, David Bartis, and Doug Liman, The pilot will be shot for SyFy Network as they are in the works to rebrand themselves.

Nightflyers tells the story of eight scientists and a telepath who travel to the end of the Universe in search of alien life. They embark on a ship called the Nightflyer with a small crew and a reclusive captain but things fall apart when terrifying and violent events occur and the crew and passengers begin to suspect each other.

Nightflyers was previously adapted into a movie back in 1987.
