Michael Bay to Produce Live Action Dora the Explorer

It has been announced that Michael Bay, alongside his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, will be producing a live-action Dora the Explorer film for Paramount Pictures.
The popular Nickelodeon character will be the focus of the film, but not as an animated seven-year-old. Bay's version will feature Dora as a teenager who moves to the city to live with her cousin, Diego.
Nick Stoller is currently working on the script, which has been around for a few years now.
There is no release date set yet but it is said that we could expect a possible 2019 release.
