Sicario 2's Stefano Sollima Rumored to be Directing Call of Duty Adaptation

"Call of Duty" looks to be the next video game in line to get a big screen adaptation and rumor has it that "Sicario 2: Soldado" director Stefano Sollima is in talks to direct.
There's no word yet on the plot details, but Activision Blizzard Studios' presidents Stacey Sher and Nick van Dyk had said during an interview that they plan on making this a large cinematic universe.
The script was written by Kieran Fitzgerald. Sher and van Dyk will be producing alongside Activision Blizzard chief executive Bobby Kotick.
