Alec Baldwin Joins Cast of Joker Film

Alec Baldwin has signed on to join the cast of Todd Phillips' Joker. The film will begin shooting on September 10.

It is said that Baldwin will be playing the role of Bruce Wayne's father, Thomas. Thomas and his wife get killed after leaving a theater one night, while in the company of their son.

Baldwin has enjoyed a revival in his popularity with his depiction of President Trump on SNL, as well as his past work on 30 Rock and his recent stint in the successful franchise film Mission: Impossible - Fallout.

Joker is slated for an October 4, 2019 release.
