Netflix Renews Umbrella Academy for Third Season

Netflix has renewed "The Umbrella Academy" for a third season. Production will begin in February in Toronto for the 10-episode season.

The series is a big hit for Netflix, ranking as the third most-watched series for the streamer. The third season will bring back the regular cast which includes Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore.

"The Umbrella Academy" is based on the Dark Horse Comic series of the same name. Steve Blackman will produce alongside director Jeff F. King, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, and Jesse McKeown. Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá will co-executive produce.
