Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi has signed on to join the cast of the John Woo action-thriller "Silent Night". He joins a cast that includes Joel Kinnaman, Harold Torres, and Catalina Sandino Moreno.
Executive producer Joe Gatta said, "Based on what we've seen from set so far, it's clear that Scott has a presence and gravitas that is incredibly captivating. He is a powerful addition, and perfect complement, to this stellar cast."
The film follows the story of a father who vows to avenge the accidental murder of his son, who was caught in the crossfire of some gang members.
Kid Cudi is a Grammy award winner as well as an actor, who starred in the horror film "X", the Oscar-nominated film "Don't Look Up", "Bill & Ted Face the Music", "We Are Who We Are" and "Westworld Season 3".
