Prime Video Confirms Reacher Spinoff with Maria Sten as Neagley

Prime Video has officially greenlit a spinoff series set in the Reacher universe, starring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, a character she previously portrayed in the original series. The announcement was made by Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, during the Prime Video Presents: Trailblazers event in London. 

Created for television by Reacher executive producer Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, the spinoff is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and CBS Studios. Sten's Neagley, a private investigator and former military colleague of Jack Reacher, embarks on a quest for justice after a friend's suspicious death. Ritchson is expected to make a guest appearance as Reacher.

Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed excitement about the news, saying, "As Reacher continues to resonate with our global customers... expanding on the storytelling and characters with a spinoff was an easy decision." Santora and Wootton added, "We are excited to explore Neagley's story further and dive into what makes her so unique."

Sten also noted her enthusiasm for delving deeper into Neagley's character, saying, "I'm beyond thrilled to further explore the world of Neagley and her somewhat mysterious background." This spinoff marks Skydance Television's seventh collaboration with Amazon, following successes like Reacher and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.
