Newsies

Based on a real historical incident, Newsies tells the story of a newsboy strike against a giant publisher in New York City in the early part of the twentieth century. Christian Bale (“Shaft”) leads the “Newsies Ensemble” against publisher Joseph Pulitzer, played by five-time Academyâ Award nominee Robert Duvall (Winner, Best Actor, “The Apostle,” 1997). The film’s star talent includes David Moscow (TV’s “Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane”), Bill Pullman (“Independence Day”) and the great Ann Margret (TV’s “Blonde”).
